Internet Riches: The Simple Money-making Secrets of Online Millionaires

by Scott C. Fox

Customer Book Reviews:

Don’t be afraid of the title of this book! This is no shallow get rich quick book but a powerful guide that provides all the basics needed to understand options in starting an Internet business. You will get a book with a step by step process to setting up your own internet company and not just a theoretical guide. Instead of only focusing on personal websites or well-established internet businesses like eBay or Amazon, you learn how to make your own business plan and to define a range of internet strategies which not only sell products, but services. I like the emphasis on low-cost, low-budget efforts and small-budget marketing. As the focus of the book is not that much on online-marketing, I recommend to complement this guide with Bruce Cameron Brown’s book “How to Use the Internet to Advertise, Promote and Market Your Business or Website with Little or No Money”. The combination of these books provides you with all the information you need to make real money with the Internet.

How to Use the Internet to Advertise, Promote and Market Your Business or Website with Little or No Money

by Bruce Cameron Brown

Customer Book Reviews:

276 pages does not look like too much, but what you get here for less than $20 is really amazing!  Bruce Cameron Brown assembled a book that guides you through the whole process of building, promoting and making money from your website or online-store using free or low cost Internet tools. You will not sell anything on the web if you do not understand how to generate traffic to your site. You will learn to target your campaign, use keywords, generate free advertising, search-engine strategies, learn the inside secrets of e-mail marketing, how to build Web communities, co-branding, auto-responders, Google advertising, banner advertising, eBay storefronts, Web-design information, search-engine registration, directories, and real-world examples of what strategies are succeeding and what strategies are failing. Bruce clearly knows his stuff and writes in a clear and to the point manner, making this book a great guide that should have a place in your bookshelf.

Cover Image How to Buy, Sell, and Profit on eBay: Kick-Start Your Home-Based Business in Just Thirty Days

by Adam Ginsberg

Customer Book Reviews:

The eBay phenomenon may be the greatest opportunity for home-based entrepreneurs ever. With close to zero start-up costs and a worldwide customer base of 150 million people, the little guy can now compete on a level playing field with huge corporations. Ginsberg’s book presents a lot of great information to get you excited about starting to buy/sell on Ebay and he is a great motivator. His guide is perfect for beginners and leads you through the process step by step with plain English that anyone can understand. If you use his techniques presented in this book you will make profit with eBay but be aware that this is not as easy as his enthusiasm makes it sound – just look at the quantities of “unsold” items on eBay each day. But yes, there are people making millions selling things like books and software and why shouldn’t you be one of these guys?

Cover Image Creating Web Sites: The Missing Manual

by Matthew MacDonald

 Customer Book Reviews:

Think you have to be a technical wizard to build a great web site? Think again. For anyone who wants to create an engaging web site--for either personal or business purposes--Creating Web Sites: The Missing Manual de-mystifies the process and provides tools, techniques, and expert guidance for making your ideas and vision a reality with a professional and reliable web presence.

An Amazon reviewer: “This book is brilliant! I expected good coverage of basics like HTML and style sheets, but this book is just PACKED with good stuff. The author's insight on all areas of web design is nothing short of amazing. On every topic you come across, whether it's making a navigation system, fixing some pictures, adding sound effects/music (yes, I know it's irritating), selling stuff, etc., the author has great tips on doing it and doing it well (and doing it on a budget, if necessary). The next great things are the pointers to other sites on the web. The author shares a huge wealth of resources for getting more information, downloading good tools, using online services, and just plain getting free stuff ([...]).

I put the book down a couple of days ago, and I'm already making money (although not much) with Google ads. I may go ahead with PayPal next. This is just too easy! I predict this book will become a legend”.
